We often convince ourselves that the reason no one is reading our content is because we don't have a blinking Facebook widget that turns green if someone likes us. More often it's something wrong with your content or marketing of your blog in the first place, not the bells and whistles. I dig the look of your Tumblr blog but fancy a FEW more bells and whistles. That's why I chose Squarespace. To each their own though right? I completely agree that functional is better than fancy.
